Let’s get you unstuck.
Lao Da is in development. If you’re already testing, use the conversation or invitation through which your build was provided. A dedicated support address will be published after setup and verification.
Common questions
A payment is missing from my diary.
Open You → Automatic transaction updates. Note the status and last-message timestamp, the exact sender name and whether you use Google Messages or Samsung Messages. Check notification access and message previews. Compare the record with your provider’s statement; do not make an extra payment just to test capture.
Will Lao Da show my old transactions automatically?
Current capture does not read old SMS history. Test builds accept prepared MoMo, GCB and Zenith GHS history files with a review before saving. Direct PDF and spreadsheet ingestion is not available yet.
Are my finances visible to other people?
They do not become social posts automatically. You write a Moment, choose the audience and optional price, then preview and explicitly confirm. Signing out does not lock or hide local financial records on the phone.
Can I use my records on another phone?
Automatic cross-device transaction sync is not running. Supported account builds offer separate setup backup and manual transaction snapshots. Zenith records are outside the current transaction-backup format. Check what a backup includes before changing devices.
Does a private plan hold my savings?
No. Targets and progress are records you enter yourself. Your actual money stays with your own financial providers. Plans are local and are not included in transaction backups.
Where can I download the app?
There is no public app-store release yet. Android builds are supplied for testing. iOS native acceptance is still pending. This website’s Moments example is an interactive design demonstration.
Reporting something useful
Include your device model, app/build version, what you were trying to do and what happened. A redacted screenshot can help. For missing capture, include the status information above.
Keep account numbers, full statements, phone numbers, passwords, PINs, one-time codes and wallet recovery phrases out of public reports. If a financial provider account may be compromised, contact that provider directly; Lao Da cannot freeze an account or reverse a transaction.
